What this is
Lounge Frog is a small, independently run travel tool for finding airport lounges and ranking flights by how civilized the layover will be. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account info. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. In local development, a bypass sign-in can create an account from any email you type — that path is disabled in production.
- Travel preferences. Your home airport, and the credit cards, lounge programs, and airline loyalty tiers you tell us you hold. Membership numbers you enter are encrypted at rest.
- Check-ins. If you post a lounge check-in, the name and note you enter are shown publicly on that lounge's page to anyone who visits it.
- Flight searches. The routes and dates you search are sent to our flight-data provider to return results. We don't attach these searches to your account.
- Local storage. Your sign-in session and light/dark theme choice are kept in your browser's local storage, not in a tracking cookie.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We don't run ads or ad-tracking scripts.
- We don't use analytics cookies to follow you around the web.
Who we share it with
Flight search queries are sent to our flight-data provider (Skyscanner) to return results. Google handles authentication when you sign in with Google. We don't share your account data with anyone else.
Your choices
You can update or remove your home airport and memberships from your profile at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, or to ask what we hold about you, email the address below and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
